Coconut

In the Philippines summer has officially ended while in some parts of the world summer has just begun. Id like to say that this is my summer ender getaway but then id be lying. Because im still itching to soak myself into the waters. And while all my summer escapades involves escaping town (duhhh?? hahah) i have decided to stay in the city. Because i have discovered new places to chill. Like a piece of paradise in the city. So i hope you'll stay tuned for that. Now that i am in my senior year i am more inclined and very inspired to write all my travel post and share them with you. Of course i travel chic. Teehee.

So for my not summer ender getaway, my boyfriend and i went to Bantayan Island. Im pretty sure that some of you are familiar with the place already. Its loated at the northern part of cebu which can be traveled by bus for four hours at a rate of 150 per ride going to Hagnaya. And a 170 pesos ferry/barge trip going to the island.

There are a lot of resorts to choose from there. Some have room for rent only. Some have great facilities. On our journey though we chose to rent a room called Bahay Kubo. For 500 pesos a night. The thing is, its located at the beach front and a walking distance to and fro from the market. Which was very convenient for us because I love to grill. Though the walking part was replaced by bicycle rides which was for rent at a rate of 120/day or 20/hour.

Grab a drink. Or grab a bite if youre not the cooking type. Along the way to the market there are great places to chill and stay.

As ive said i travel chic, when we arrived i immediately changed into my bikini's and my highwaist ombre shorts and completed my look with a denim vest. And yes i wore this around town, biking, getting stuffs and grilling of course.

Sweet Little Things

Welcome to Phoebe's! The most beautiful cupcakery ive ever been to!

My boyfriend and i had always planned to visit this place and finally we did. The place has the cutest interior i have ever seen. Even their comfort rooms are soo cute. So to dress up for the occasion, i also wore my sweetest dress.

The place may look expensive but the prices are actually friendly. Cupcakes starts at 55 Pesos, while iced coffee is at 90 Pesos, Hot drinks starts at 50P.

The only thing to make this outfit perfect would be a statement necklace. My neck looks so bare dont you think?

This place is located at Ma. Luisa Road, Banilad Cebu City.

Flats were a must for a chill day sesh with the beau. And these flats were the perfect pair for my dress. Sticking with the color scheme.

Run Wild

Lets take a quick break from all the beach post. Here's a more comfy and casual outfit worn for a day in church and groceries with my sister.

Church outfits are always laid back, or formal or just comfortable. Since there are dress codes in going to church i opted from a crop top and a highwaisted digi print body con skirt. ANd some ballet flats in its pretty pastel color.

May Acquisitions

May is such a quick transitions from Summer to Back to School, just when May started to kick in, the malls were all about Mid Summer Sale. But as May is about to end the racks of cute shoes and clothes have changed to school shoes and school uniforms.

But here are one of the few items i have managed to grab on SM's Mid Summer Sale

Pastel Flats at 249.75, originally 499.75
Still at 50% off bag from Parisian
Floral Maxi Skirt at 275 from SM Ladies!
Studded Toeberries Mint Rubber Slippers at 100. Perfect for the beach.
Bag from Parfois.

Do you remember my floral pants craze? Or the printed pants for that matter? When all of my acquisitions were all about them. Well this summer i have been all over bags. Maybe its just me preparing for my last year in college! Oh how time flies so fast :)

My last swimmie purchase which i love the most because it literally carry the summer vibe. Talk about the sailor color scheme. the white and blue stripes. The red. Right?

So as ive been saying im all about bags. Here are some of them:
 Samantha Mary Bag
Its a really huge bag. For my trips and etc.
 A make up pouch  :)
 An Estee Lauder tote bag
 And this yummy green bag!

Whats on your haul?

Capping the Day

It is always a dilemma for me on what to wear during after-outings. You know, when youre already tired and youre heading home. Whenever i pack for trips like these. I always make sure that i would feel comfortable in whatever i wear.
So for this trip. I packed my sheer green top. And this green highwaist shorts to match.

I know that im probably just heading home in this. But stop-overs are always inevitable. And its good to be prepared always. As the saying goes "everyday is a fashion show and the world is your runway" you are your own stylist, i might add.
And i was right. Upon heading home me and my boyfriend decided to eat at Lantaw. Its a floating (not literally) restaurant just 2 kilometers away from the resort. The place was very amazing, romantic and very serene. See for yourself!

A way to cap off a perfect day is to have a perfect dinner by the beach.

Thank you so much for the perfect day :)
